(More customer reviews)Not exactly what this item is made for... but this pot works great as a Fire Pit. It's nearly 30 inches wide. And the cast iron construction will keep this pot around... to even out last the owner... and a few generations of owners after.
Yes... it'll rust. But for my use it's no big deal... and even adds a little style to it. And beleive me, it ain't gonna rust through, even a 1/4 of the way through, in one person's life time.
Have your local welder rig up a grate to cook on the top and you'll be done fine for rustic outdoor cooking.
